ABOUT

Chris Frost (she/her) is an actor, singer, model, and playwright based in New York City.

She was born on a military base in Okinawa, Japan, but spent most of her childhood on her family’s cattle ranch in Texas. Chris earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with a double minor in Music and Honors Studies from Texas State University. She has worked closely under the direction of Kaitlin Hopkins, Jim Price, Cassie Abate, and Marqui Maresca. In May of 2020, Chris published “Heart of a King: Trials of Gloriana,” a full-length musical exploring the gender identity of Elizabeth I through her life experiences.

In addition to performing, Chris is passionate about history and queer representation. She hopes to create space designed for people who don’t fit into the gender binary by writing roles with which queer people can connect. In her free time, you can catch Chris ascending to nirvana by listening to Florence + the Machine’s discography, studying mythology, experimenting with boundary-breaking fashion, and being a Lego architect.
